CINCINNATI (January 2024) – United Way of Greater Cincinnati (UWGC) needs volunteers to help prepare tax returns for thousands of individuals during the 2024 season. We believe all families deserve economic well-being, and Free Tax Prep volunteers directly support individuals and families in that effort.
UWGC looks to build upon last season’s success in which volunteers served more than 7,600 families, saving them more than $2 million in filing fees. More volunteers also stepped up to help, which translated to 500 more returns prepared and $8.7 million in refunds for filers.
Free Tax Prep services begin at the end of January and continue through April. Services this season include in-person, drop-off and virtual options.
