United Way of Greater Cincinnati is excited to recognize and celebrate the generosity of Greater Cincinnati workplaces and their employees.
These workplaces empower their employees to get involved, volunteer and give back to our community. Together in 2023, we raised $40.3 million and mobilized over 2,000 corporate volunteers to promote educational success, financial empowerment and housing security throughout the region.
Workplaces That Care highlights United Way’s Top 25 and Tremendous 25 corporate campaigns — those with the highest total giving and those with highest per-capita giving, respectively — in addition to New Businesses that recently joined us in our mission to build a thriving community for all.
“Everyone has a stake in our community’s well-being, so it is encouraging that so many workplaces are engaged and support our work.
These partnerships empower us to adapt, diversify and forge stronger community relationships, broadening our reach to serve more individuals and families in Greater Cincinnati.
Congratulations to all our Workplaces That Care awardees!”

These organizations and their teams, executives and dedicated engagement leaders embody the fact that
United We Thrive and generated community-changing results like these:
Our Top 25 partners with the highest total giving consistently fuel United Way’s impact work through employee and corporate charitable investments. These businesses serve as role models by creating a culture of caring among their employees, leading the way by empowering and encouraging their employees to get involved, volunteer and give back to the community.
“United Way is an important corporate partner for [Fifth Third] and a big part of the reason for that is there is a great deal of symmetry – that spirt of generosity, the belief that we’re stronger when we’re connected, and the sense of responsibility that we have. It’s a big part of the culture that we are building at Fifth Third.
I am exceptionally proud of the way that United Way has done the hard things and taken on the big problems, committed itself to making systemic change in addition to the things that it does on a day-in, day-out basis to help individual families.”
Tim Spence
Chairman, CEO and President
Fifth Third Bank
Our Tremendous 25 represents the highest per-capita giving companies with at least 25 employees and 55 percent employee participation. These companies may not be large enough to be in the Top 25, but they and their employees go above and beyond to provide exceptional support for their community.
“School Outfitters supports communities of educators all over the country. Naturally, we believe in people and institutions in our own community. United Way helps our community grow and thrive better than ever before. It’s vital mission to raise human well-being amongst our neighbors is crucial in these difficult times. We look forward to many more years of support and being “united” with our fellow Cincinnatians!"
Tom Brennan
Founder & CEO, School Outfitters
We are excited to welcome and celebrate new businesses to our community of supporters every year. This is vitally important, because much of our community impact work happens as a result of corporate supporters who embrace United Way as part of their company culture and who provide sustainable and steady resources to fund our work.
