CINCINNATI (August 25, 2023) — We are extremely grateful for your help in collecting backpacks and school supplies for local students!

Thanks to our partners and volunteers, we have distributed 2,700 full backpacks (200 above our goal of 2,500) in 10 communities!

The backpacks and school supplies were distributed during community events hosted by our organizing partners throughout July and August. These events celebrated students and their families, and provided critical services and support, including health screenings, personal care items, and school shoes and uniforms.

We distributed backpacks in the following communities: 

• Avondale
• College Hill
• Kennedy Heights
• Cheviot
• Price Hill
• Northside
• Downtown (Cincinnati Public School Fair in Washington Park) 
• Northern Kentucky (Covington)
• Clermont County (Felicity and Franklin communities)
