The new Human Services Fund Grant Cycle will open in early 2025.
Organizations providing services to residents of the City of Cincinnati are invited to submit proposals seeking financial support from the Fiscal Year 2024 City of Cincinnati Human Services Fund.
The City of Cincinnati established the Human Services Fund to invest in services for residents based on priorities set by Cincinnati City Council. The investments are meant to complement but not duplicate City services.
United Way of Greater Cincinnati is facilitating the request for proposals and proposal reviews. The City-appointed Human Services Advisory Committee will review proposals and recommend organizations and programs for funding to City Council. City Council makes final decisions on which programs will be funded under the City’s budget process.
There are two Requests for Proposals within the Human Services Fund this year: Service Categories and the Impact Award.
Comprehensive Workforce Development
Youth Gun Violence Prevention and Reduction
Supporting, Securing, and Stabilizing Housing for High-Risk Populations
Eviction Prevention and Housing Stabilization
With the Impact Award, City Council seeks to fund one collaborative project between multiple organizations and the City to address Cincinnati’s eviction and housing crisis.
The project should work to reduce evictions and stabilize housing by tracking eviction trends; using predictive analysis; funding immediate costs; and providing access to legal services.
