CINCINNATI, OHIO (Sept. 21, 2021) —
Dear United Way friends,
There is one thing I know with great certainty—when families work towards economic well-being, they know what they need to achieve it, and they know exactly who to turn to for support. It is always people and organizations they trust.
United Way works with a network of these trusted agencies, faith groups and grassroots organizations to ensure help is there when needed. The collective power of that work results in real change, not only for those families, but for all of us when we intentionally apply the valuable education received from those trusted interactions.
For those of you on social media, expect to hear more soon. We are working together with our partners to raise awareness of the work and value that comes from families, the organizations they trust, and United Way when we work together.
It takes more than one service to change the path for families in our community. There are many impactful programs and services meeting the urgent and immediate needs of the most vulnerable in our communities. Our United Way partners rise to the challenge of addressing the root causes holding families back every single day.
When we work together and let families lead us, we not only meet immediate needs, but we spur sustainable systemic change and a stronger, more resilient community emerges.
Please share our social media posts using the hashtag #CincyLivesUnited and thank you for helping get news of this good work out to more of our community.
